Support for Monks: A Call for Compassion
Our holy scriptures taught us to serve and help selfless monks, or bikshamdehi, as this is one of the greatest acts of merit. Many monks long to participate in the sacred Maha Kubh pilgrimage, which occurs once every 12 years, but financial constraints often prevent them from doing so.
In the past, there were kings who were sons of dharma to support and protect such monks, but after the change of that old royal system, no one cares about our monks. They endure struggles such as hunger, illness, and isolation while remaining devoted to their spiritual path.
The Rishi religion makes it clear that by helping a monk, many kinds of good will come to us. The greatest of all donations is a food donation and supporting a monk; if the support is given to a deserving true ascetic, the merit we receive will be doubled.
The highest donation in the dharma path we can make is to offer food and support to a true ascetic. Your generosity will not only aid their pilgrimage but also bring spiritual rewards that will enrich your life. By supporting these monks, you are contributing to the preservation of dharma and receiving their blessings in return.
Join us in supporting these noble ascetics—your small contribution will bring excellent support to them and will shower tremendous blessings on you.
